About the initiative
"What Pandora did not know was that, when she shut the lid of the pithos so hastily, she for ever imprisoned inside one last daughter of Nyx. One last little creature was left behind to beat its wings hopelessly in the jar for ever. Its name was elpis, Hope."

'Hasrat', established in the easter month of 2020 by a 17 year-old student, is a non-profit online initiative to liberate this Ovidian elpis. With the objective to create awareness about a kaleidoscope of donation and volunteer opportunities under one parasol, we wish to concoct a thriving community hub where people participate in a broad range of programs that foster social connections and promote civic engagement.
